It is necessary that the guitarist brings along playing equipment, which needs beyond an energy supply and has to be attached again at a corresponding amplifier, which also needs an energy supply. The quality of the played music depends on the playing equipment and the amplifier, which leads to unwanted problems during tuning the sound again and again.
